services for agencies, groups,
and individuals
The United Way's primary role is to support other nonprofit agencies, to create programs that fill gaps in the nonprofit infrastructure, to provide emergency assistance to individuals when funds are available, and to direct individuals in need to local resources.
Past services have included a gas cards, motel rooms, food delivery, and PPE delivery. These services are not currently available.
Presently we are open to collaborating with groups in need of grant writing and are actively collaborating with the Sadie Brown Cemetery to write grants and assist with cleanup activities.
If you have a group that may require grant writing, contact us at uwayhoo@gmail.com.
